In an effort to protect this carpet design which was approved by Past Deputy Grand Master and Governor Lord Elgin & Grand Secretary Bro. C. Martin McGibbon, Millennium Mark were given approval to supply this bespoke carpet in conjunction with the Grand Lodge of the Royal Order of Scotland so as to protect the design and colour copyrights. 
 
There are companies operating the UK as well as overseas companies who have little or no desire to protect designs they simply copy or import products with profit alone being their aim. The protection of this design is imperative to maintain the high standards of Grand Lodge.  
 
Millennium Mark donated a £1000 to the Grand Royal Order of Scotland in respect of Royal Order of Scotland carpets marketed by Millennium Mark. The presentation took place at the Installation of Bro. William Jeffs at York Saturday 1st November 2014.
